Boonora is a shared rewards network. One membership — keyed to your phone number — earns and spends across every participating business (for example, Be Well LifeStyle Centers and The Pastry Palette). Joining is free. By enrolling, using a referral link, presenting your member QR code, or loading value, you agree to these Terms.
Your wallet holds up to three kinds of value, and they are treated differently:
Earned points ("Boons") — promotional value you earn from loyalty cashback, referral rewards, bonuses, and promotions. Boons have no cash value, cannot be redeemed for cash, and are not transferable except through program features we provide.
Purchased value — real dollars you load onto your wallet. Purchased value never expires and is never reduced by fees of any kind.
Gift cards — value someone bought for you. Gift card value never expires and is never reduced by fees of any kind.
Earned points (Boons) expire after 12 consecutive months of wallet inactivity. Any earn, spend, or load on your wallet resets the clock for all of your points. Expired points revert to the program operator. This policy will not be enforced against anyone before July 15, 2027, so every member gets at least a full year's notice. Purchased value and gift cards are NOT affected — they never expire.
Participating businesses award cashback Boons on qualifying purchases at the rate they set, which may change prospectively at any time. Member tiers (based on your lifetime earned points across the whole network) can multiply your earn rate and referral rewards. Welcome and referral bonuses may be held as pending until your first qualifying purchase. Businesses may set minimum-purchase and monthly earning caps.
Redeem by presenting your member QR code (or card) at any participating business. Spending draws from your earned points first, then purchased value, then gift cards. Redemptions may be PIN-protected. Value cannot be redeemed for cash except where required by law.
If a purchase that earned rewards is refunded, voided, or disputed, the rewards it generated (including referral and affiliate rewards) are reversed. We may correct any credit or debit made in error, reverse value obtained through fraud or abuse, and adjust balances to fix processing mistakes. Loaded-value refunds follow the purchase's payment rail and the originating business's refund policy.
Members may share their personal link or QR code and earn rewards on referred friends' activity. Cash-paying affiliate memberships are governed by a separate signed Affiliate Agreement, which requires clear disclosure of your affiliate relationship (FTC guidelines), prohibits spam, self-referral, and deceptive tactics, and provides for commission reversal on refunds. Tax reporting (Form 1099 / W-9) applies to affiliate earnings as required by law.
We may suspend or terminate memberships and forfeit promotional value for: creating multiple or fake accounts, self-referral, abusing signup or referral bonuses, reselling value, tampering with QR codes, or any manipulation of the program. Purchased and gift value is never forfeited under this section — it remains redeemable or refundable even if promotional privileges are removed.
We may change earn rates, tiers, features, participating businesses, or these Terms prospectively; material changes will be posted here with a new effective date. If the program is discontinued, purchased and gift value remains redeemable or will be refunded; reasonable notice will be given for redeeming earned points.
Our Privacy Policy describes what we collect and how it's used. Text messaging is governed by the separate SMS Terms — login codes and account texts only, marketing texts are optional and separate. Your Boonora membership is not a medical record: the program uses only your contact details and program transaction history, never health information.
The program is offered by Boonora LLC, a Michigan company, and these Terms are governed by Michigan law. The program is provided "as is"; our total liability to you is limited to the purchased and gift value in your wallet. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under applicable law, including federal gift-card protections (CARD Act) and state unclaimed-property law. If any part of these Terms is unenforceable, the rest stands. You must be at least 13 to join; loading value requires being 18 or the involvement of an adult.
