To run the rewards program we collect: your name, phone number, and email; your program transactions (earns, spends, loads, gift cards, tier status); your referral relationships (who referred whom, so rewards can be paid); and basic technical data when you use the member app (device type, log data). If you enroll as a cash-paying affiliate, tax information (W-9) is collected directly by Stripe, our payment processor — we never see or store your SSN.
We never sell your information. We never share your phone number or email with anyone outside the program's participating businesses and service providers.
Your health information is not part of Boonora. If a participating business is a healthcare provider, your medical records live in that provider's systems under HIPAA — the rewards program only ever uses your contact details and program transaction history.
To operate your wallet and rewards; to let participating businesses accept your redemptions (a business you redeem at sees your first name, last initial, and whether your balance covers the sale — not your full balance or contact details); to send account messages (login codes, receipts); to send marketing only with your separate consent (see SMS Terms — reply STOP anytime); to prevent fraud and abuse; and to meet legal obligations (for example, tax reporting on affiliate earnings).
Only: (1) the participating businesses where you actually earn or redeem, limited to what the transaction needs; (2) service providers who run the program's infrastructure (payment processing by Stripe, cloud hosting by Google Cloud, e-signatures by PandaDoc, messaging providers) under confidentiality obligations; and (3) authorities when the law requires it. If the program's operator changes (merger/sale), your data goes with the program under this same policy.
Data is encrypted in transit, stored in access-controlled systems with tenant isolation between businesses, and monitored with daily integrity checks and backups. We keep program records while your membership is active and as required for financial and tax record-keeping, then delete or anonymize them.
You can access or correct your information at any participating business's front desk or by contacting us; opt out of marketing at any time (STOP for texts, unsubscribe for email — account/security messages still send); or close your membership, which forfeits earned points and refunds or lets you redeem purchased/gift value per the Program Terms. The program is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
Material changes to this policy will be posted here with a new effective date, and members with an email or phone on file will be notified for significant changes.
